Tipchenitza Winery
Tipchenitza Winery is a small boutique winery in the picturesque village of Tipchenitsa, located in the hilly Northwest of Bulgaria. The region boasts centuries-old traditions in quality wine production as well as some of the best grape varieties. In each sip of our wine you can feel the soil, the favourable climate and the craftsmanship of the winemakers... We specialise in the production of various boutique series of high quality wines both from our own vineyards planted on the hills above the village only a few kilometers from the cellar, and from selected varieties from other vineyards in our region.
The Tochka series
Tochka – the Bulgarian word for 'dot' - is a symbol of our village, Tipchenitsa. While it is just a small dot on the map, our village is nestled in the rolling hills of northwestern Bulgaria where we craft our elegant wines. You can easily identify them by their fruity taste, fresh floral aromas and distinct varietal identity. We make them in limited batches from grapes meticulously chosen by our winemaker.
The Oak Barrel series
For lovers of wines with a strong character! Our wine from the Tipchenitza Oak Barrel series comes from grapes selected by hand, vinified the classical way and aged in oak barrels in the cellars of Tipchenitsa, a village in the rolling hills of northwestern Bulgaria.
Enologist's Selection
A signature vision from winemaker Nadya Mineva. With these wines, we aim to go beyond the boundaries of the varietal and achieve a distinctive terroir expression by patiently allowing the bottle to reveal its full potential.
